The Pasig River Ferry will give women free rides in the morning of March 8, Friday.

“As we unite in celebration of International Women’s Day, the Pasig River Ferry will be free for women this Friday in the morning,” said Danilo Lim, chairman of the Metro Manila Development Authority, which operates the ferry service.

“This is our simple way to thank them and to recognize their contributions to their communities and to our country,” he added.

The Pasig River Ferry Service is the only water-based transportation in Metro Manila. It services the Pasig River route from Pinagbuhatan in Pasig to Intramuros in Manila.
