Pasig students join govt internship program
More than 400 students met Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto in September 23 as they began their stint under the government Internship program.
The students eagerly flashed their smiles as Sotto snapped a photo with them after the flag ceremony.
In a Facebook post, the mayor said the 480 students accepted under the GIP will be receiving wages.
“This is a great opportunity for our youth to enhance their skills, jumpstart their careers, and be exposed to public service,” Sotto said.
Bet the students are eager to buckle down to work just as much as they want to receive their pay.
