Pasig's Covid cases exceed 400
Active cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Pasig City jumped to 456 on Jan. 4 from just 24 cases a week earlier on Dec. 28, based on data provided by the city government, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
The tally represents an increase of 432 cases in one week.
Of the 456 total count, the following Pasig barangays currently have the largest concentration of active cases: Barangay Rosario with 45 cases (9.9 percent), Barangay Ugong with 44 cases (9.6 percent), Barangay Sta. Lucia and Barangay Pinagbuhatan both with 37 cases (8.1 percent), Barangay Bagong Ilog with 36 cases (7.9 percent), and Barangay San Miguel with 33 cases (7.2 percent).
Pasig City and the rest of the National Capital Region (NCR) have been placed under Alert Level 3 due to the sharp increase in COVID-19 infections.
