Pasig offers free rides to commuters affected by strike

In preparation for the upcoming transport strike scheduled from March 6-12, 2023, the Pasig City government announced that they will provide free rides for commuters who will be affected by the said strike. The city will offer five routes for the Libreng Sakay program, which aims to ease the burden of commuters during the transport strike.

The five routes of the Libreng Sakay are the following:

  1. Pasig Mega Market to Shaw Boulevard (Vice Versa)
  2. Pasig Mega Market to Ligaya via Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave. (Vice Versa)
  3. Pasig Mega Market to Kalawaan to San Joaquin to Pasig Mega Market (Loop)
  4. Pasig Mega Market to Ligaya via C. Raymundo Ave. (Vice Versa)
  5. Pasig Mega Market to Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave. to Rosario to C. Raymundo Ave. to Pasig Mega Market (Loop)

The city government advised commuters to check the designated routes for each route to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey. The Libreng Sakay program will be available from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm daily for the duration of the transport strike. The initiative aims to provide a convenient and safe mode of transportation for the affected commuters.
