Pasig mobilizes vehicles to fetch commuters
This morning, March 6, 2023, the deployment of service vehicles of the local government of Pasig for Libreng Sakay has started, in order to provide assistance to commuters who will be affected by the week-long transport strike starting today until March 12, 2023.
Before the deployment at 5:00 AM, drivers underwent a briefing led by the Traffic and Parking Management Office (TPMO) and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO).
More than 40 city buses, commuter trucks, and other service vehicles of the local government will be traveling along the following routes:
- Pasig Mega Market to Shaw Boulevard (Vice Versa)
- Pasig Mega Market to Ligaya via Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave. (Vice Versa)
- Pasig Mega Market to Kalawaan to San Joaquin to Pasig Mega Market (Loop)
- Pasig Mega Market to Ligaya via C. Raymundo Ave. (Vice Versa)
- Pasig Mega Market to Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave. to Rosario to C. Raymundo Ave. to Pasig Mega Market (Loop)

Commuters are advised to take advantage of the service and plan their trips accordingly to avoid inconvenience during the transport strike. The local government of Pasig assures its constituents that they will continue to find ways to alleviate the effects of the transport strike and ensure the public's safety and convenience.
