2,000 Pasig medical frontliners receive booster shots
Around 2,000 medical frontliners belonging to the A1 priority group have received their booster shots against COVID-19 in Pasig City, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
Medical frontliners started receiving their booster shots on Wednesday, Nov. 17.
Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto, in an interview with CNN, said that the city had already started administering booster shots for frontliners and is now in the process of including senior citizens int he rollout of booster shots.
The Department of Health (DOH) said booster shots are also being deployed in nine other cities in the National Capital Region. These are Makati, Las Pinas, Quezon City, Taguig, Caloocan, Pateros, San Juan, Muntinlupa, and Valenzuela.
