Pasig observes National Oral Health Month

The Pasig City Health Department's Dental Section led the month-long celebration of the National Oral Health Month this February with the theme "Love your mouth! Enjoy nutritious food until old age with healthy and well-cared-for teeth."

The Pasig City Government supports the advocacy to promote oral health and hygiene awareness among its constituents, particularly the youth, to maintain good health and hygiene.

As part of the culminating activity of the National Oral Health Month, a short program was held during the Flag Raising Ceremony earlier today, February 27, 2023.

A selected group of children from each Barangay Day Care Centers in Pasig City, who were considered A1 child - healthy, clean, and with good teeth - were recognized and awarded by the Dental Section of the City Health Department.

The celebration aims to educate everyone, especially children, about the importance of oral health and hygiene. To those who want to consult with a dentist, they can check the schedule of the nearest health center in their barangay for a free consultation.

The health centers are open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except on holidays. The Pasig City Government encourages its constituents to take care of their oral health and hygiene for a healthier and better life.
